Guilandina bonduc is a climber and species of flowering plant in the family Caesalpinieae. It is native to Assam, India. The common names of the plant include greynicker, nickerbean, fevernutor knicker nut and the Assamese common name is Leta or Letaguti tree. It is very useful medicinal plant. The seeds of the plant have antimalarial, antidiarrheal, anti Oestrogenic, antiviral, antifilarial, hypolipidemic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-parasitic, and antispasmodic properties.
